Our family has been in Dalsheim since 1625 and has cultivated wine in the 12. generation by now. Our fine boutique winery is located in the Rhein Valley, in the gentle rolling hills South of Rheinhessen. In 1937 Dr. Kurt Becker married Anna-Maria, the daughter of Jakob Müller IV, a winegrower. Since then the company has the company name of "Weingut Müller-Dr. Becker". In 1963 Dr. Becker´s son Klaus and his wife Inge took over the winery. Klaus Becker is an oenologist who studied at the famous German wine school in Geisenheim and at the wine faculty of the Montpellier university in France. Gaining much experience from hist studies with well known professors he has introduced the Burgundy wines as well as famous red wines like Pinot Noir or Saint Laurent. Klaus Becker is one of the pioneers of red wines in Germany. In 2000, Dipl. Agr. Ing. Jochen Becker (Master of agricultural science), Klaus Becker´s son, entered the winery which by then has won many national and international awards/prices for their high quality. Focusing especially on fine fruity Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir).
