Wasems Kloster Engelthal

In the idyllic Kaiserpfalz of Ingelheim, chef Berno Lammers treats guests at Wasem's Kloster Engelthal to a cream soup of Kirn's Hokkaido pumpkin with chilli and vanilla oil. He sources the pumpkin from the Markus Kirn fruit farm in Ingelheim. As a wine pairing he serves a 2020 Ingelheimer Grauburgunder Ortswein trocken from Wasem's own winery.

In Wasem's Kloster Engelthal, chef Berno Lammers serves typical rheinhessen dishes. They are accompanied by a variety of expressive wines. When the weather is nice outside, there are seats on the summer terrace in the inner courtyard. If not, guests can sit in the cosy restaurant. In addition to the restaurant, the Wasem family also runs the winery and event office with great passion and thus stands for long-standing tradition.
