On Monday the 03.03.2025 starts the Rosenmontagszug Mainz and moves through the most beautiful streets of the city centre. It finally reaches its climax around Mainz Cathedral. The route of the procession is about 7.2 km, the length of the procession has now reached 9 km. The current route takes about 4 hours from the new town of Mainz to the old town.
