"MAM" - A Tribute to BAP

BAP frontman Wolfgang Niedecken and former guitarist Klaus “Major” Heuser have already seen the band and were impressed. At the last tour start in 2011 in Bonn's Harmonie, MAM was even able to present “Major” as a “special guest” - recognition for the band that could not be greater. The BAP tribute show, which lasts up to three and a half hours, revives the BAP feeling of their breakthrough period with the great hits of the 80s (including Frau ich freu mich, Do kanns zaubere, Kristallnaach, Verdamp lang her) and guarantees a rousing evening of Kölsch rock. In addition, MAM has also created an atmospheric unplugged program in which the BAP classics are presented in an acoustic instrumentation. The band was last seen unplugged in the supporting program of the Leverkusen Jazz Days. MAM has now established itself in the premier league of the tribute scene. They not only regularly attract 400-500 visitors to their concerts in the Cologne-Bonn area, but have also become a popular crowd-puller at city and music festivals. Highlights of recent years have included appearances at the renowned Leverkusen music festival “Streetlife”, “Rhein in Flammen” in Bonn's Rheinauen and the Bielstein Open Air, where MAM performed in front of world stars such as 10cc and Barclay James Harvest.
