"Morrison Hotel" - A Tribute to The Doors

Classics such as “Light My Fire”, “Break On Through”, “Riders On The Storm”, “L.A. Woman”, “Roadhouse Blues”, “When The Music's Over” and “The End” are performed to great effect. But lesser-known DOORS songs such as “Universal Mind”, “Ship Of Fools” and “My Eyes Have Seen You” are also part of the repertoire. “The Morrison Hotel” don't just play the DOORS live, they perform the DOORS. Last but not least, the impressive performance and the vocal color of the frontman contribute to this. His voice contains almost all the facets that made up Jim Morrison's voice. Sometimes clear and beguilingly hypnotic like the young Jim, who could block out everything too much in the room with this voice, then again pithy, rough and serene like the late, bluesy Mr. Morrison. Countless concertgoers have already been taken on a mystical journey through time into the rebellious world of the DOORS with a great deal of pathos to keep the musical memory of one of the most legendary American rock bands alive and are still happy to be asked for an encore after a 3-hour set.
