On the first Sunday of Septembre - wherever the flag is waving, there's always something to drink! - "The Alzeyer hike through the vineyard's small houses" was created in 1989 by the old town association of Alzey as an annual event and has developed ever since to become one of the biggest and most popular wine parties in the region. The event has found now its friends over the borders of Alzey. During that day, you will enjoy Alzeyer wines and regional dishes with a nice hike in the vineyards.
