Huppert winery
Tradition since 1717
Our half-timbered house was built in 1717 by Arnold Huppert and his wife Anna Cathrina Huppertin. Even then, the people in Gundersheim made a living from agriculture and viticulture. We look forward to following the tradition of our ancestors and today we offer you a wide variety of very good quality wines.
The classics Blauer Portugieser, Pinot Noir and Riesling can be found in our wine list as well as Chardonnay, Lemberger or the popular Seccos, white and rosé.
Gundersheim is a wonderful place for wine.
The calcareous soils in and around Gundersheim also contribute to the quality of the wine, as do the low rainfall and the numerous hours of sunshine.
Caravan sites
Gundersheim is the ideal starting point for hikes in the vineyards, bike tours through the Rheinhessen hill country or for a stroll in the Nibelung city of Worms. We are happy to help you with your individual route planning. About 300 meters from the winery, there are twelve caravan parking spaces in a quiet location.
The area is large, the individual parking spaces are surrounded by vines. Power connection is available. You will find a supply and disposal station in the neighboring town of Westhofen at the Raiffeisen petrol station.
