My roots grow deep in Bermersheim, Rheinhessen. This is where it all began. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, and it wasn’t until I was far away that I realized where my journey as a winemaker would ultimately lead.
I am Christian Peth - making wines because it’s what I love to do. This is my wife, Maja. We both love exploring the world.
I left home to find my own distinctive voice - in my life and in my wines. I traveled to many countries around the globe. Immersing myself in the wine cultures of Chile, Australia and the USA.
These experiences crystallized into my own wine style: confident, memorable and honest. Internationally inspired wines with a distinguishing, unforgettable soul.
There’s something deeply gratifying about working in the vineyards, and in some lucky years my hands are full sorting out the  truly great from the simply good. My goal? Producing wines worthy of a spot among the international elite. I arrived in Bermersheim with Maja and my children. A world-traveler returned to Rheinhessen.
