Winzerhof Biegler
"Love your wine" is the idea in Winzerhof Biegler, because only those who really love their wine give it the full attention in the vineyard and later during vinification. In the last 10 years, the company has developed from a former pure grape producer into a young, innovative, but still traditional, bottled wine marketing estate with meanwhile 15 hectares. Nearly 75% of the vineyard is planted with white grape varieties, the Riesling and the Pinot varieties have a very special status. New varieties such as Ortega are used for the precious noble sweet drops and complete the offer. Since 2006, there is a new wind on the Winzerhof. Michael Biegler, son of the house and viticulture engineer, gained experience in renowned wineries in Germany, South Africa and Chile before returning to his parents' business. Today, he is responsible for vinifiying he wines and can wonderfully implement his knowledge. All with the aim of producing wines that stand out and are unique. His passion is working with powerful, mineral wines from old vines, including Riesling, Silvaner and Pinot Noir. Grape varieties such as Merlot and Chardonnay can also be found in the portfolio, since the entry of the young winemaker. Two grape varieties of international format and with appropriate style. "Only those who keep their curiosity recognize the charisma of the wines and can enjoy them with serenity". This slogan describes the wine classification of the Winzerhof Biegler, with the estate wines (curiosity), local wines (charisma) and vineyard wines (serenity). Together they pull together and have set themselves the task of making the still relatively unknown wine village Eimsheim, with its small individual sites like Eimsheimer Römerschanze known in the German wine world.
