Enjoying Rheinhessian hospitality and tasting great wines - this is how the Wein-Engels (engl. wine angels) describe their concept. Udo and Ulrike Engel have been very dedicated to the wines and customers of the small but fine winery in Flörsheim-Dalsheim for almost 30 years. The wine pleasure in combination with delicious food from regional and seasonal cuisine is maintained here with dedication. A well-founded consultation in the selection of wines and the satisfaction of wine lovers mean more to the winegrower family more than any award. However, the wines do not have to hide - for several years they have been highly rated at the AWC Vienna International Wine Competition - the winery has received the jury's 2-star award for 2012. And the young winemakers generation, with the sons Albrecht and Clemens, can hope for even more in the future. Albrecht presents his first engelalbrecht collection after his training as a winegrower in top German wineries and the business accountant examination with the 2012 vintage. In 2014, after completing his training as a technician, he will enter the business with passion and many other ideas. Clemens will also be starting his dual viticulture course in Neustadt in the summer and is gradually discovering the appeal of the variety of winegrowing.
