Small, but fine and innovative - this is the award-winning Hemmes winery below the Binger Rochusberg with the typical range of grape varieties in the region. In a good, honest wine plenty of positive forces can be found. This basic idea has been inspiring the Hemmes family for generations in viticulture and cellar work. Their goal is to make sustainable use of the natural potential of the best locations and thus make "make their home experiencable". This succeeds: The Hemmes winery has been collecting awards from the professional world: Well-known wine magazines and the two most important German wine guides Gault Millau and Eichelmann regularly discover delicious and expressive wines, "which are fun. Does anyone who wants to become a wine connoisseur have to go to school? In the Vinothek Hemmes, the lovingly restored old village school building, good taste is the teacher. Winemaker Frank Hemmes as principal distributes no grades, but always creates exciting links to wine in his subjects biology, geology, local history.

The vinotheque is located in the lovingly restored old village school building. Winemaker Frank Hemmes as village school master does not hand out grades but from time to time he makes exciting connections between his subjects biology, geology and local history and the wine.
